So nice to find a tutorial that doesnt assume knowledge about a topic before teaching. But please review the lessons on conditionals (specifically #5) as well as previous ones. Slight oversights are common. Can get confusing.

Seriously, start advertising this app so that everyone can learn how easy it is to learn coding!!!

I wanted to learn Python but never could find time on to take an online class on my computer. This app flipped that around. Now I am coding Python every second of free time I had. My smallest programming up is my favorite.

I dont usually take my time to rate apps but this particular one blew my mind! Its very informative, interactive and does a great job following up the lesson. The format is well structured as if you are in a classroom with a teacher. Even if you are just brushing up on some programming, you can do it on the go without needing internet service. Nicely done!

Great learning tool and easy to use. Learned to code a long time ago and am using this app as a refresher and it is working great! Highly recommended!

Easy to understand and neatly functions

Im a n00b at coding and with this app I was able to turn that around. In one day alone I was able to breeze through the entire html section and retain everything I learned. It has an extremely user friendly interface and is very interactive!! 5 starts all around!!

And make an account on codeacademy.com. I learned HTML on there a few days ago then found this. Its a great app to learn to code with but its even better for a review, especially since it has quiz questions and flash cards.

The content is great, but the screen does not rotate on the iPad pro

One of the flashcards states: "Heterogeneous - same type. A heterogeneous list is a list where all its values are the same time (sic!)" Firstly, heterogeneous list means a list with _different_ types of data (e.g. Boolean, string). Second, the word "time" in the end is a typo, the word "type" was obviously intended. Noticed other mistakes as well. Its important to keep learning app for beginners free of mistakes, especially crude ones. Wouldve given 4 stars if not of them. Wouldve given 5 stars if more content was presented, right now its VERY basic. Flew through paid python content in few minutes.

This is overall a very good app for its purpose, which is to be an introduction to the basics of a programming language, despite the fact I havent gotten through all the lessons yet. It does cost money to get some additional lessons in JavaScript, Python, and Ruby, but you can get additional lessons for free in one programming language as long as you share the app on Facebook or Twitter. I did want to write this a good review as it is a good app for its purpose, however I also wanted to reduce the general rating, since it does beg for money quite a bit, so I took away from it half a star from the general rating, which was 4 and a 1/2 stars at the time of writing. So now you know exactly why I rated this 4 stars, and have good information on this app too.

Really enjoying this app! I have only been using it an hour, but I feel like the bite-sized steps and the neat, flash card function has taught me a lot!
