Neat and useful!

Just went through the lessons, it was a pleasure to review JavaScript basics with Lrn. I cannot recommend it strongly enough for all beginners struggling with the syntax and the core concepts of JS. Ah, and the design of the app is reaaaally neat :)

Good product

The design is very clean and proper to learn programming with JavaScript language.

The best app!

This app make you learn programming very easily. Try it and you willnot regret it

Great app

I was looking for an app to learn python and just feel in love with this app. Its helping me a lot !

Good!!!

A really great application !

App wont open

I got really excited about the app when I read an article on BI about its launch. Right after I read the article I downloaded the app, its been almost two hours now that I downloaded the app and it wont open. Help!!

pretty much a paid app

only ~10% is free, rest is paid. Only super basics of JavaScript. Nothing for server side stuff. Better learn for free e.g. on codecademy.com or other places. Apart from that.. very nice concept. Most free online courses don’t work that well small mobile screens. I’d suggest using a full computer for learning to code anyway, but for a quick fix or Kata on the go, it’d be perfect. Hope the developers keep at it and make adjustments.

Pretty basic

Really well designed and thought. However the 7 chapter is really basic. Dont expect everything is included. For 4$ it is not too bad. But if they ask for more money for every chapter there is no point. Buying a book would be more useful and cheaper. Still really nicely developed app. But you wont be able to develop an app from learning from this app :))

Pretty Good

// Tell these guys they can improve on some stuff, but they are doing really well in general. So (as I can see) you guys can do a little better, Im an 8 month long coder now, but started with codecademy, which is a lot more hands-on. Now yes I get this is an iOS app, but maybe you could make a sandbox area, for people to try stuff out in.I am a hands-on learner, but this is still the best JS iOS app I have tried, keeps me busy, and its fun, and you LEARN HOW TO MAKE MONEY AT THE SAME TIME! WHILE NOT REQUIRING WI-FI!!!

Found a small problem

Section 1 part 5 doesnt "run" properly. The title doesnt appear. Other than that, having fun. Using this as a refresher.

Lrn

Enjoying this app, learning to code

Great but Lack of iCloud sync

The biggest deal breaker is the lack of iCloud sync for multiple devices is a major deal breaker.

Promising, but a long way to go...

I love the fact that this app allows the user to learn effectively on a small phone screen. Their approach is really innovative! If the whole thing were free I would have given this five stars. However, after paying the in app purchase fee for the python course, I quickly realized that the course is not only not comprehensive, but barely scratches the surface. You can go to Codecademy and get a free course that is in far greater detail than the paid session here.

Great app! Try it out.

Great app and awesome usability. Length of lessons are perfect. There are flesh card. Really well thought out app.

The best

Best app for the beginners!

LRN: I LOVE YOU!

I started using Lrn three months ago and I already completed the whole JavaScript modulus: I never approached so fast and in a complete way a language! I really appreciate the graphical interface and the path built to learn better the code! Very nice work guys, keep continuing like this!

Really helpful!

Fantastic app! This seriously beats pretty much all of the major "learn python" tools. Its very intuitive, the explanations are fantastic, and its incredibly easy to pick up. My only complaint is that there arent enough lessons! :D

No Landscape?

This app requires lots of typing, yet it doesnt support landscape? What an oversight.

Good effort but exercises are far too easy

I think the problem with lrns approach to teaching code is that it doesnt really force you to think or remember the specifics of the language syntax. If you want to learn to code you have to write actual code. In the absence of a JS interpreter, lrn needs to ask you to fill in more sections of code without multiple choice.

Perfect for Digital marketer starting to learn code

Very user friendly. Instantly helped my under WordPress text view. This is 1st coding lesson that has not intimidated me to point of quitting. Im actually excited to do each module. The short sections are perfect for memory and on-the-go learning. The quiz and flash cards are great reinforcers. Its positive and encouraging too.
